The meaning behind your Blog name

I couldn’t decide on anything I thought would fit my mix of uninteresting bits. I read an article calling Barak Obama as being nerd adjacent given his love of his blackberry and other gadgets and I thought that was a kind of cool way of putting it. I don’t consider myself a nerd, because I have social skills. I’m a little bit geeky, and I’m a girl, so girl geek adjacent it was!

1. I have a fear of spiders

3. Until I was 18, I seriously considered cheesecake as a food group
4. Bats have better eye sight than I do
5. I never finished 7th Form / Year 13
6. When I grew up, I wanted to be a Lawyer or a Journalist. Until I discovered you need good English grades.
7. I have two different 6th Form Certs – One says I passed English, the other say’s that I failed.
8. I have coeliacs disease
