We had a really large thunderstorm pass right over town while I was at the hairdressers. My poor car was inches away from being flooded out. It’s the middle of summer. Global warming anyone?

my bathurst picks at the tab

I dont have a large budget and like to spread the bets around, so this is what I picked this morning at the TAB:

$5 on Tander/Davison on Pole
$5 on Muprh/Skaife on Pole

$5 on Lowndes/Whincup for the win
$5 on Murph/Skaife for the win
$5 on J Richards/McConville for the win

$5 on Johnson/Courtney to Place
$5 on Tander/Davison to Place
$5 on VanGiz/Davison to Place

Heres hoping for a payday, and a Kiwi win. I also realise that I picked more Holdens than Fords, but I believe this year, Holden have more hunger for the win and also picked cars that have speed or drivers that have talent and drivers that have a legacy.

The Grand Prix in Sepang

Fantastic racing. Pity it was cut short with the rain. Just the pit stops for the multiple tyre changes ensured what little racing there was had a full race’s worth of excitement. I feel for the drivers sitting on the grid in the rain. Now you know how flag marshals feel!
