a romance with the iphone

So I’ve had the iphone now for over 24 hours and I’ve let everyone down by not posting a review of what I think. I realise that theres a new model coming out and the one I have is old, but it has all I want in a phone and then some.

My reason for buying an iphone was that when it came to it, the Nokia 6121 had a really small screen and the browser wasn’t fantastic for keeping up with all the social networking I do throughout my days. Prior to purchase, I could be found on the Apple iTunes store browsing apps.

I’ve got my little collection all sorted now and I even have some music on there. The kind of music I normally have to burn to CD if I want to listen to it in the car. The audio from the iPhone is loud enough and decent enough that I won’t really consider using my car stereo except to listen to talk back.

I haven’t had a chance to play with the GPS/Maps, another thing I wanted it for as it eliminates the need for a seperate navman unit.

The idea is its 3 gadgets in one. Its my iPod, phone and GPS in one awesome little package. I’m really happy with this purchase.

But further comments on the iPhone will have to wait as I have taken receipt of The Sims 3 Collectors Edition today and have been far too busy learning the advanced game play and customisation that it has to offer. So I will blog about that some stage over the weekend.
